Beliefs and Aims

We are a Christian Charity committed to working with schools in the Southdown area of West Sussex.  We use puppets, drama, quizzes, music and story-telling to teach young people more about the Christian faith and to help them to develop personally as good citizens.

Splash (with the help of local faith communities) also runs weekly children’s community clubs and other children’s and family activities including holiday clubs, fun days, parties, etc.

We believe that:

  • By education and pastoral support we can influence the community in which we live in order to bring about reform and improved family values.
  • Each child in our community is important and they should all have the opportunity to decide for themselves whether to follow the Christian faith or not.
  • Christian values and beliefs provide the help need to build lives on a good foundation which in turn improves our society.
  • All children regardless of gender, age, religion, race, disability or background should be treated equally.  We do not tolerate any form of discrimination.
  • Children with special needs should be treated with dignity and respect.
