About
Splash works in 19 different local schools using puppets, drama, quizzes, music and story-telling in a variety of settings:- assemblies, lunch-clubs, after-school activity clubs and RE & PHSE lessons. As we teach children about the Christian faith, we boost their self-confidence, self-esteem and social skills and help them to develop into good citizens.
Within the community we run weekly kids clubs, holiday clubs and summer playschemes, family fun days, parent support groups and parenting training, supporting local families across a wide range of issues.
Our vision is to come alongside local churches to help them achieve their vision for outreach in the community. We aim to link children and families to a local church family so that they can grow in their faith.
Splash can help churches by:
- providing expertise or resource materials for children’s work and family services
- helping with the planning or running of children’s holiday clubs
- providing training for young people or children’s workers (for example training in using puppets)
