Children’s Film Shows
Children and families are very welcome to join Splash for Family Film shows on the first Thursday of every school half-term holiday at 3:30pm at Trinity Centre in Storrington. The most recent film showings have included Disney Pixar’s “Up”, Disney’s “Voyage of the Dawn Treader” and “Tangled”. Please contact us for details of the next film showing during October half term. Each showing lasts around 1 1/2 hours with an additional 20 minute interval for tuck!
The film show is primarily aimed at children up to and including school year 5 but older children are welcome to attend if they are accompanying their young siblings. Parents will be able to drop their children off and then return at 5:30pm to collect. Alternatively they can stay and enjoy coffee and cake! Pre-schoolers are also welcome to come and enjoy the film but they must be accompanied by an adult. There is no cost to attend although donations are welcome to cover costs.
The children’s film shows have been organised following feedback from children from Storrington First School that they would like to have a cinema in the village! Splash aim to have special film shows just for kids on Thursday afternoons during half term and school holidays, providing children with an opportunity grow in confidence and independence as they can attend just with their friends.
