What We Do

Mad Club Leader !

In Schools : Every half term we lead assemblies in 15 local schools as well as taking some RE & PSHE lessons.  We have also been involved in running some clubs in schools.  An Overview of our lessons can be seen here.

Our assemblies and lessons are fun, interactive and lively using puppets, drama, games, quizzes, music and story telling to teach young people more about the Christian faith and to help them to develop personally into good citizens.

In the Community: We run weekly children's & youth clubs, organise lots of special events and outings, lead an annual holiday club and are involved in providing parenting courses.

The weekly clubs aim to meet the social needs of children in our community and encourage them to explore the Christian faith.  We do this in a safe, secure and fun environment.

Events and outings have ranged from visiting large indoor family entertainment centres, pantomine trip, sports events, farm fun, arranging visits from magicians, hiring soft play and fairground toys, plus lots, lots more.

Superhero Holiday Club 2007

2008 Holiday Club Programme

We’re very excited to confirm that Spash will be running two holiday club programmes this year:- one during the school Easter holidays and then another during the summer break.  Our Easter club will be based at Ashington CE School and run from Tuesday morning – Friday morning during the first week of the school Easter holidays (8th-11th April).  Our summer club will be in Storrington during the first full week of the school summer holidays (28th July – 1st August) – venue to be confirmed.

The morning will  be an action packed, bible based programme with games, quizzes, sports, arts and crafts, drama and music all set at an imaginary Olympic Games stadium. The children will follow the antics of the Watt Family who win a trip to the Olympic Games and foil a secret plot to kidnap top British athletes and prevent them from competing in the games.

We are now taking bookings for our summer holiday club at Storrington First during the first full week of the school summer holidays (28th July – 1st August). The club will run from 8:45am till 3pm with the option to stay for just the morning only (till 1pm including lunchtime).  The cost will be £5 per full day or £3 for mornings only.

The morning will  be a structured, action packed, bible based programme with games, quizzes, sports, arts and crafts, drama and music all set at an imaginary Olympic Games stadium. The children will follow the antics of the Watt Family who win a trip to the Olympic Games and foil a secret plot to kidnap top British athletes and prevent them from competing in the games. The afternoon will incorporate a programme of games, sports and crafts with optional workshops covering more specialised themes.

Download a booking form here or email admin@splashschools.org.uk with your address and we will send you one.  Splash holiday clubs are generally oversubscribed so we encourage you to get your form in early.  Up to the Friday following half term (Friday 6th June), priority will be given to children from Storrington and the immediate areas.  After Monday 2nd June we will allocate any remaining places to children from other areas on a first-come first served basis.  Please call the Splash office on 01903 740044 if you need further information.
