Last year we challenged schools to update our logo to reflect our vision and values and our aim to be a “Splash of fun and excitement” in every visit to every school . Many of the children’s entries included a rainbow and we chose Matilda (aged 8) from Pennthorpe School, Rudgwick and Caitlin (aged 9) from St Mary’s CE Primary School, Pulborough as joint winners of the Logo Design Challenge.
Both pupils based their designs on a rainbow with droplets of water coming from the rainbow to represent the”splash” of fun and energy. Each entrant had to tell us why their design reflected the aims of Splash and Matilda wrote “I have chosen a rainbow as my design as it is a sign of God’s promise to the earth. Splash come to our schools to teach us about God’s promise, his love and his ways”.
Our new logo brings these elements together in a colourful and friendly design which reminds us that God’s promises and God’s love overshadow everything we do! Our thanks go to Hannah Sneller who worked with and adapted the two winning entries to produce such a wonderful, professional final result!
